Welcome to the Times!

The Sepoy Times is a response to the mundanes of everyday life that seem to be perpetuated especially among medical students. That life is now one big rat race of who can get the best electives, of pushing through the final pages of Talley & O'Connor's to please that one examiner, of limiting oneself to the ward-PMC-home cycle because there just "isn't enough time" for anything else. I have below a six thousand word essay that says otherwise;

These photos, gleaned from the previous 4 months alone, show us as medical students in all our glory, not just crunching down information and sitting for exams, but as well rounded people with different dreams, ideas and likes or dislikes. People who one way or another have found themselves on a tiny little island called Penang, and discovering along the way all the things life here has to offer.

The Times hopes to be a guide, to take the student journey with you in PMC and Penang as a whole, giving you the latest information on both academic opportunities and leisure escapes.

We also want to be a place of expression, where students can contribute their own sage advice or creative pieces that may not fit in place in the MedSurg portfolios or the official guidebooks released by PMC.
